MR Vegas' double CD, Sweet Jamaica, has debuted at number seven on Billboard magazine's Reggae Album chart.

It is Vegas' fourth entry on the chart.

His 1998 album, Heads High, which won him a MOBO Award in Britain, peaked at number five.

In 2001, Damn Right, issued by Greensleeves Records, debuted and peaked at number two.

Six years later, Hot it Up for Universal Records stalled at number 11.

Sweet Jamaica is released by Vegas' MV Music label. CD one contains reggae tracks and collaborations with Nadine Sutherland, Jovi Rockwell, Josey Wales, Shaggy and Luciano.

CD two offers some of Vegas' most recent dancehall songs including the chart-topper Bruck it Down, Certain Law, and a live version of his 2008 gospel hit, I am Blessed.
