It was a busy court day for dancehall deejay Vybz Kartel. In the case involving the murder of Clive Lizard Williams, the deejay is to return to court on June 8. In that matter Vybz Kartel is represented by attorney at lawValerie Neita Robertson. No bail application was made but as the directed by the judge at the last court hearing, the prosecution has since handed over forensic and other evidence.
Meanwhile, Kartel had his bail extended in the case involving the murder of Barrington Bossy Burton. The dancehall deejay who is represented by Tom and Christen Tavares-Finson, is expected to return to the Home Circuit court on June 8.
Vybz Kartel is also facing charges of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and attempting to pervert the course of justice. He’s expected to appear in court on May 8 in that matter.
The controversial dancehall deejay has been in custody since October last year.
